Just as they are about to get back into space, they are besieged by an alien species called the dragzhi. Only an ancient relic, the Key, can save them – if it even exists.

JAMIE BECK: ACCIDENTALLY HERS IS FILLED WITH ETHICAL AND MORAL DILEMMAS
Posted by Ognian Georgiev
This week Land of Books continues new interviews series with our former guests. This time Jamie Beck is returning with her new novel Accidentally Hers. The book hit the market on October 6 and as expected matched the positive feedback (av. 4.3 Amazon stars!) from her other two releases Worth the Wait and In The Cards.
If you missed the first interview with Jamie Beck you may check it here. It’s time for our second (and hopefully not the last one) meeting with the promising romance author.
– Jamie, welcome back to Land of Books, what the readers will find in your new novel Accidentally Hers?
– Thank you for having me again!
To answer your first question, Accidentally Hers is the first book in the Sterling Canyon series, which is set in a fictional Rocky Mountain ski town based on Telluride, Colorado.
In this first book, I hope readers will find a complex story filled with legal, ethical, and moral dilemmas. There are no easy answers or resolutions for either Grey or Avery. I’ve put Avery in a particularly sticky situation where, no matter what she chooses, someone she cares about (or who is counting on her) will end up hurt. Readers will also meet (and fall for) Grey Lowell, the extreme skier with a heart of gold. I love him.
The secondary characters in this book will eventually get their own books as well (Secretly Hers is due out in July, 2016).

TIJAN: THE INSPIRATION OF KIAN HIT ME WHEN I WAS WATCHING A SHOW
Posted by Ognian Georgiev
The mysterious romance writer Tijan released his latest novel Kian on October 17. Once again the feedback by the readers is splendid. So far the novel carries an average of 4.6 Amazon stars from 170 reviews.
Land of Books is following the career of our next guest. You may read his first interview for the blog here. Now here is something more from Tijan about his new book and his future plans.
– Tijan, welcome back to Land of Books. What the readers will find in your fresh release Kian?
– I’m hoping they’ll find a new and unique book that they’ll love! Kian‘s book is different than I’ve written before. The inspiration hit me when I was watching a show where the girl had a stalker. I didn’t want to go that route, but the guy was super sexy and that appealed to me. 🙂 Honestly, I tried writing Fallen Crest University instead of Kian, but the FC characters weren’t speaking to me so I decided not to fight it and I just went with Kian‘s book. I absolutely loved writing it.

Lawyer turned to a writer. Sounds familiar? Thanks to those kind of transformations we are lucky to understand better the law system and all the drama that surrounds big and not so big trials.

ANDRA WATKINS: CHALLENGES KEEP US ALIVE
Posted by Ognian Georgiev
Not Without My Father is a very special memoir by Andra Watkins. The book describes the personal challenge of the author. Our next guest did something very tough. She admitted her pure feelings and reflections during a very rough adventure.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you Lady Andra Watkins.
– Andra, what is your memoir Not Without My Father about?
– In 2014, my debut novel To Live Forever: An Afterlife Journey of Meriwether Lewis was published. Because it was set on the Natchez Trace, I thought walking the Trace would be a brilliant marketing ploy. I’d take readers into the world of the book, all while walking more than a half-marathon every day for a month. I knew my stunt would make my novel a New York Times best seller.
I needed a wingman to accomplish my dream. The only available person was my eighty-year-old father, the one person in the world who drives me absolutely insane. I didn’t want to live with his gas and non-stop talking for a month.
But I was desperate for my best seller.
Dad agreed to be my wingman while I walked the Trace in fifteen-mile daily increments. My memoir is the story of our dysfunctional family adventure, a story that asks if one really can turn “I wish I had” into “I’m glad I did.”
