Blake Crouch and the books from his The Wayward Pines Trilogy are standing once again solid as rock in the Top 40 of Kindle Amazon Bestselling list in the last weeks due to TV series based on the story. The first part Pines is the most acknowledged book of the American writer. This is the reason why we decided to honor the author with our 13 Facts.

Pines was originally planned as a single novel

Desert Places is the first published novel by Blake Crouch. He was 26 when the book was released.

There will not be Book 4! Or as Blake Crouch said himself “probably not”.
“I can’t believe The Wayward Pines Series is over. I miss these characters and the town already, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever return to it,” explained the author.
The brother of Blake Crouch, Jordan, actually wrote a fan fiction story, named Exit Vertigo. It is based on The Wayward Pines Trilogy
Speaking of Jordan, it was the brother, who was the first audience of the upcoming creator of bestselling stories during their kids’ years.
Blood Meridian is the favorite book of Blake Crouch
The huge boost in the book sales came after the showing of the TV adaptation. The premiere on Fox was on May 14 2015.
The second episode of the TV series holds the record of the bigger rating with 4,59 million viewers in USA
The final episode of the first season is scheduled to be broadcasted on July 23. It carries the name Cycle
The first five episodes of the TV series are covered by Book 1 Pines. The second five are carrying the plot-line from Wayward and The Last Town

Mr. Crouch, I was absolutely captivated with the WAYWARD PINES trilogy. I watched the TV series and also bought the books. You left us hanging! So many questions about what happened in the future of that time and place….did any of our kind survive? How? Did the two races learn to coexsist? Did the others evolve to be more like us or did a new race, a combination of both races come into being? (According to the TV show the queen had teeth like ours) Were there other pockets of humans like us who managed to survive through the evolutionary process that created the “others”? On and on. You’ve created a new and captivating world that cries out to be heard from again. I hope you decide to bring that world forward and continue the series.
I completely agree with CJ Harvey. You left us hanging and this series begs to be continued. Please write book 4.
Definitely! As much as you think you are done with it, you so should reconsider! Especially after the TV series has come out… I am dying to see what happens when they exit those chambers/pods! A fourth book would be so exciting!!

First MR,.CROUCH, thanks for the books and tv show I have loved both, they are still on my mind till this day. PLEASE, PLEASE, write a 4th installment to let us know what you were thinking would come next for our characters, I definitely would buy it and I believe so would others. Easy money, and you have the basics,AND seems like you have been away a long enough time it should be easy for you. You have my hopes, in your brain. Thank You LOTS!
