AMAZON TOP 10 BESTSELLERS: AUGUST 2015

The month of August saw a new hot debut emerging as a total dominating force at Kindle Amazon rankings. The Good Neighbor by A. J. Banner gathered a rare maximum of 80 points score and was unanimous winner of our chart. The Girl on the Train returned in the Top 3. Few other titles also made their comeback in the chart which is a guaranty for their quality.
Land of Books took some time for the Summer vacation, but as always we are presenting to you the best books for the hottest month of the year.
10. Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian by E L James (2nd last month) 25 points
After some solid performance in June and July the cloning Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian dropped down in the ranking. So far the sales of the book are impressive, while the reaction of the readers is better than the original. Almost 10 000 reviews are averaging 4,2 Amazon stars, which is pretty impressive. 9. Trail of Broken Wings by Sejal Badani (Returns) 30 points
It’s always nice to see a good novel to return in our chart. Trail of Broken Wings finished on second place in April rankings. Sejal Badani’s book proved its qualities and currently resides with very strong public valuation averaging 4.4 Amazon stars from 2.8 k reviews. 8. Luke by Sabrina Page (New entry) 37 points
The next romance by Sabrina Page broke into the Top 10. Luke was released on August 5 and already gathered 200 reviews with average 4.5 Amazon stars. “Love all the sex description”, “A must read series” and “I love Luke, I want more,” are few of the readers’ opinions.
7. City of Echoes by Robert Ellis (New entry) 38 points (KF*)
Robert Ellis’s Detective Matt Jones series debuted with City of Echoes. The novel was part of Kindle first program and earned well deserved spot in the ranking. Almost 600 reviewers averaged 4,2 Amazon stars in their valuation. Check out our interview with the Robert Ellis about the book.
6. About That Fling by Tawna Fenske (New entry) 47 points (KF*)
Another Kindle First debutante with official release is/was set for September 1. About That Fling has a lovely cover and lovely story inside the book. The romantic comedy found many fans, who gave it average 4,2 Amazon stars from 360 plus reviews.
5. Follow You Home by Mark Edwards (New entry) 48 points
Follow You Home was released on June 30. Week after week the next book by Mark Edwards gained popularity and improved in Kindle Amazon bestselling list. The thriller was received very well by the fans of the genre (av. 4.2 stars from 770 plus reviews).
4. The Einstein Prophecy by Robert Masello (3rd last month) 53 points
Robert Masello’s hit kept its position for a second month in a row. The Einstein Prophecy stayed solidly during August as one of the most wanted books. The reactions around the story are mixed, which lowered a little bit the average Amazon stars valuation (3.8).
3. The Girl from Krakow by Alex Rosenberg (New entry) 60 points (KF*)
Alex Rosenberg’s history novel made a serious statement in the book market. The Girl from Krakow was already compared with last year’s big hit All the Light We Cannot See. Check out our interview with the Alex Rosenberg.
2. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins (4th last month) 67 points
Don’t be surprised if you see The Girl on the Train once again on the top of our monthly rankings. The interest around the masterpiece of Paula Hawkins stays in the summer. Probably the novel will be a major contender for the Book of the year in many different charts. Check out our 13 Facts article about it.
1. The Good Neighbor by A. J. Banner (Debut) 80 points (KF*)
The Good Neighbor was absolute king during the month of August. The total domination of the debuting author A.J. Banner is impressive. Her splendid efforts already gave the dreamed results. Here is our interview with A.J. Banner.
