It was September to remember for James Hankins and his thriller The Prettiest One. The novel’s official release has been set October 1, but in the previous month the book was available for pre-order and download due to Kindle First program.
The noise about Ridley Scott’s movie The Martian reflected directly to the Andy Weir’s original. The novel returned in the Top 10. There are some other interesting trends in the book market so you may enjoy them in the following chart.


10. My Sister’s Grave by Robert Dugoni (Returns) 21 points

Robert Dugoni’s amazing thriller returns to the chart and there are two reasons for that. Her Final Breath, the second part of Tracy Crosswhite series, was released in the middle of September. The publishers decided to put a great price for the first part My Sister’s Grave – $1,99. 8. I Can See Clearly Now by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer (New entry) 27 points

The memoire of self-help guru Dr. Wayne W Dyer I Can See Clearly Now was very popular during September. The reason is that he passed away on August 29. His first book Your Eroneous Zones is still considered as one of the top bestsellers of the last century.

8. Still Waters by Viveca Sten (New entry) 27 points (KF)

One of the new entries held strong positions during the entire month. The Swedish author Viveca Sten is very popular in his country with a total of three million copies for her Sandhamn Murders series. 7. Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre 29 points (New entry)

Everybody loves to hear about the life of the movie stars. Alessandra Torre hit the bull’s eye with her book Hollywood Dirt. The reception was great and currently is averaging 4,7 Amazon stars from 625 reviews.

6. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins 48 points (2nd last month)

Paula Hawkins is losing two positions from last month, but is still standing very strongly in the Top 10. The absolute favorite for the Top book of 2015 probably will stay in the chart for long time. 5. The Martian by Andy Weir (Returns) 61 points

Finally, the long waited movie adaptation of The Martian came to the big screens. Matt Damon and Ridley Scott teamed up to create one of the contenders for Academy awards 2015. Along with the noise around the film Andy Weir’s bestseller once again climbed high in the ranks. 3. The Girl in the Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz (New entry) 62 points

The Girl with the dragon tattoo is back with the novel by David Lagercrantz The Girl in the Spider’s Web. Millennium books showed to the world the talent of Swedish writers. The novel found a nice place in the Top 3. Something more, it’s a very rare case to have two authors from Sweden in the top 10.

2. The Good Neighbor by A. J. Banner (1st last month) 64 points

The winner of August chart came very close to make a double. A.J. Banner’s The Good Neighbor was loved by the readers and has decent chances to stay for some more weeks in the Kindle Amazon Bestselling list. Check out our interview with the author.
