AMAZON TOP 10 BESTSELLERS: JANUARY 2016

Hello everyone, it’s time for the first chart for 2016. January is usually calmer month in the bookstores after December’s huge sales around Christmas.

We’ve got another portion of Kindle first choice books, who occupied the front places. The Moonlit Garden by Corina Bomann is the champion with a full score of 80 points. The Former monthly winners The Short Drop and The Good Neighbor are brought back in contention with solid positions in Top 10.

AMAZON TOP 10 BESTSELLERS: DECEMBER 2015

Dear friends, Happy New Year. Land of Books wishes to you and your families all the best during the entire 2016. We will start the New Year with our traditional Amazon monthly rankings.

Once again we have a clear winner of the chart. A Death in Sweden smashed the field with a maximum point score of 80 points. The novel by Kevin Wignall beat the November’s champion A Short Drop. It was a very close battle between many entries to enter into our Top 10. Check out the most wanted books for the last month of 2015.

Winter is coming along with Christmas and New Year holydays. It’s time to make your selection of books for the upcoming rest days. Just to warm up before the last month of the year here is our monthly rankings for best books in Amazon.
We’ve got a perfect scorer in the face of The Short Drop by Matthew FitzSimmons. The debuting author was superior in a very strong field of books featuring new novels by authors like John Grisham, David Baldacci and Michael Connelly.

AMAZON TOP 10 BESTSELLERS: OCTOBER 2015

Top 10

The second month of autumn became the time for a total dominance by Camille Pagán and her book Life and Other Near-Death Experiences. The title stayed in Top 3 of Kindle Amazon bestselling list during the entire month. Even the movie premiere of The Martian couldn’t move out of the first place the best novel for October.

AMAZON TOP 10 BESTSELLERS: SEPTEMBER 2015

Top 10

It was September to remember for James Hankins and his thriller The Prettiest One. The novel’s official release has been set October 1, but in the previous month the book was available for pre-order and download due to Kindle First program.
The noise about Ridley Scott’s movie The Martian reflected directly to the Andy Weir’s original. The novel returned in the Top 10. There are some other interesting trends in the book market so you may enjoy them in the following chart.

In the middle of the summer the hottest titles around the world once again gathered their devoted solders/readers to battle for the top of Kindle Amazon ranks. The month of July was the month of Harper Lee. 65 years after her masterpiece To Kill a Mockingbird, the second novel by the author from Alabama was released. Guess what, the reception by the readers was amazing and Go Set a Watchman topped the rankings around the world.

The big news from June’s rankings is that The Girl on the Train finally was beaten by some other book. E. L. James’s trilogy was reborn once again with very smart way of keeping the fans of her books turning page after page. As always we’ve got some very nice Kindle First Choice novels, which are standing close to the top.

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins sets another record in our monthly rankings. The novel is standing solid on the top for fourth consecutive month. Once again the thriller was challenged by Amazon First Choice’s titles and once again the bestseller maintained the championship place with strong showing in the second part of May.
We’ve got some interesting new titles in the ranks and few others are once again in the chart.

For the first time since the start of our ranks a novel stays on the top for third month in a row. Top 10

For the first time in our chart we have a winner that keeps his position from previous month. Another impressive showing is Maude by our good friend Donna Mabry. The book is staying in the Top 10 for third month in a row.

10. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah (New entry) 28 points

With impressive 4.8 average Amazon stars from 2700 plus reviews The Nightingale is a real deal. The novel was published at the beginning of February, but already is driving with high speed at the bestselling highway.
